Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
Unospace is a desktop app made by Authority Wit, LLC d/b/a Protomated (“we”). This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the Unospace app and this website (unospace.app). The short version: the app collects no data about you.
The Unospace app
Section titled “The Unospace app”- We collect no data. The app has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no accounts.
- Your data stays on your device. Your tasks, time records and settings are stored on your Mac (inside the app’s sandbox container) or on your Linux machine. We cannot see them.
- todo.txt export. If you choose a folder for the todo.txt and done.txt export, the app writes those files there, on your device.
Sync with other services
Section titled “Sync with other services”If you connect Unospace to YouTrack, Todoist, ClickUp or Nifty, the access token for that service is stored in the macOS Keychain (on Linux, the system keyring). The token is sent only to the service you connected, directly from your device. It never passes through our servers, because we do not run any servers for the app. Once you connect a service, that service’s own privacy policy applies to the data you keep there.
You can disconnect a service in Preferences at any time, which removes the stored token.
Purchases and the free trial
Section titled “Purchases and the free trial”Unospace Pro and its 14-day free trial are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information. All we receive from Apple are anonymous, aggregated sales reports. Apple’s privacy policy covers your purchase.
This website
Section titled “This website”- The website uses no analytics and no cookies. It loads no fonts, videos or scripts from other companies.
- If you switch between light and dark themes in the docs, your browser remembers the choice in its own local storage. It is never sent to us.
- Our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type), which are used for security and to keep the site running.
- The website has no sign-up or contact form. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you.
Children
Section titled “Children”Unospace is a productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
Section titled “Changes to this policy”If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change affects how the app handles your data, we will say so in the app’s release notes.
